Why choose Royal Grass Pro Glue?

Our adhesive has been extensively tested on the backing of our artificial turf products to ensure optimal seam bond adhesion.

Using a different adhesive may cause unknown reactions to temperature fluctuations, potentially causing seams to open during intensive use of the turf. For this reason, we strongly recommend using our Royal Grass Pro Glue for a good and long-lasting seam bond.

Our adhesive is always used in combination with Royal Grass seam tape.

What do you need the adhesive for?

The use of the adhesive is necessary for creating seam joints, minor repairs or bonding when cutting posts, trees or other obstacles. When creating a seam connection in artificial turf, you can choose whether you want to glue the seam or fix it with adhesive tape. If you choose to glue the seam, we recommend using Royal Grass Pro Glue.

How much glue do you need?

With one cartridge you have enough glue to create a seam in a piece of artificial turf approximately 3 meters long*.

Waste processing
The waste from the used kit is considered residual waste and can be disposed of in accordance with the applicable waste disposal guidelines.

It is recommended to securely anchor the artificial grass with ground anchors and fill it with sand. The ground anchors provide additional stability for the lawn and its seams. The sand adds weight to the artificial grass, making it lie more stable.

The sand significantly increases the stability of the artificial grass, preventing the lawn from easily shifting. It also supports the artificial grass fibres, reducing the likelihood of them lying flat and extending the lifespan of the lawn. Don’t worry, the sand is not visible as the sand grains fall between the blades of grass.

We recommend infilling our products with Royal Grass Infill Sand ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm. The amount of sand depends on the product type and the fibre height of the artificial grass.
